The Roxbury Public Library, in partnership with the Gay Activist Alliance of Morris County (GAAMC), presents: “LGBTQ+ Acronyms and Pronouns 101” on Wed. May 18, 7PM – 8:30PM – this is a virtual event.
This program addresses the question: What does it mean to be inclusive to the LGBTQ+ community? Panelists, listed on the library’s event page (link here and below), will offer insight into use of pronouns, acronyms, and what respectful inclusivity looks like today.
GAAMC is a not-for-profit volunteer-run organization that provides social, educational, and outreach programs. GAAMC also offers opportunities for individuals to become politically active on issues related to the GLBTI community. For more information about GAAMC, please visit them at: https://www.gaamc.org
