We thank our 4 outstanding candidates Corine Borrero, Brian Considine, Jen Cooper and Keith Griffin for stepping up to the challenge of running for Roxbury Town Council. We thank their families as well, as we know that running in a campaign impacts not just the candidate.
We also thank our many volunteers for their incredible commitment to help reach out to thousands of Roxbury residents.
We congratulate Bob DeFillippo, Jim Rilee, Mark Crowley and Shawn Potillo on their election to Roxbury Town Council. Public service is an important foundation to a community’s well being. We all care deeply about Roxbury and its future.
Our campaign worked diligently to listen, reach out and engage with voters throughout town. Much of what is going well in Roxbury is clear. Every town also needs improvement with changing circumstances and residents. We hope that the Roxbury Town Council will strive to provide leadership and local governance that represents the people and their values, concerns, and hopes.
We encouraged everyone to vote because every election matters, and voter registration and education were part of our campaign messaging as well. We encouraged vote by mail and the new option in New Jersey of early, in-person voting, as well as election day voting.
We will continue to work to help Roxbury go forward, committed to serving our community.
