Roxbury is having its first Pride Day! This Saturday, June 3, from 10AM to 1PM at the First Presbyterian Church and the Roxbury Public Library lawn on Main St., Succasunna.

Pride is about kindness. It’s about love and acceptance of others regardless of ethnicity, ability, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Those are the themes of Roxbury’s Pride Day which are more important than ever considering the correlation that lack of kindness, love and acceptance can have on the bullying experienced by young people and those in all walks of life.
Roxbury’s Pride was born out of a desire to show that hate has no home in Roxbury, and that all of us deserve kindness….that we all deserve to feel pride in who we are.
We agree completely and are looking forward to the first Roxbury Pride event!
