SUMMARY:Live Reading of the Declaration of Independence
DESCRIPTION:The 250th Anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence is on July 4\, 2026.  While there are various celebrations and events taking place all over the country to mark this historic event\, the Roxbury Dems are observing the holiday with a live reading of the Declaration of Independence. Come and listen to your neighbors read and remember the importance of this critical piece of both American History and present-day America. \n\n\n\nThe reading will take place rain or shine at the gazebo in front of the Roxbury Public Library. Bring your own chair (and coffee?) and perhaps consider volunteering to read a section. Text for the Declaration will be available.
